ITLOX product terms
Total Print Hub Terms
These product-specific terms govern use of Total Print Hub with Shopify, including merchant responsibilities for product setup, customer design review, checkout, production export, supplier handoff, content rights, and subscription access.
1. Agreement and contracting entity
These Total Print Hub Terms are a binding agreement between the Shopify merchant that installs or uses the app (Merchant or you) and the applicable ITLOX entity. UK and European merchants contract with ITLOX LTD; United States merchants contract with ITLOX, Inc.; other merchants contract with the entity identified in the Shopify App Store listing, order, or written agreement. Both entities are referred to as ITLOX.
These terms supplement the ITLOX Terms of Service, the ITLOX Acceptable Use Policy, the Total Print Hub Privacy Notice, Shopify's applicable terms, and any signed order or data-processing agreement. Product-specific provisions in these terms control for Total Print Hub if there is a direct conflict.

2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18, have authority to bind the Merchant, and administer or be authorised to administer the connected Shopify store. You must keep Shopify, supplier, and staff access secure; maintain accurate account and business information; and promptly notify security@itlox.com of suspected unauthorised access.
3. Licence and permitted use
Subject to these terms, Shopify's continued availability, and payment of applicable charges, ITLOX grants the Merchant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use Total Print Hub for the Merchant's own Shopify print, personalisation, promotional-product, and production workflows during the subscription term.
You may permit authorised staff and customers to use the app's intended merchant and storefront surfaces. You may not resell, white-label, sublicense, copy, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass access or billing controls, probe another tenant, or use the service to build a competing product except where such restriction is prohibited by law or expressly authorised in writing.
4. Merchant responsibilities
- Use Shopify checkout for purchases and do not bypass Shopify payment or order workflows.
- Confirm rights for uploaded artwork, fonts, product images, supplier catalog data, templates, and any imported content packs.
- Review customer uploads, generated previews, AI-assisted drafts, and production files before manufacturing or supplier submission.
- Provide accurate product setup, print areas, mockups, color mappings, variant mappings, pricing formulas, and supplier credentials.
- Publish clear storefront terms, product descriptions, prices, fulfilment times, refund rules, content rules, and customer privacy notices.
- Do not upload malware, active SVG content, infringing artwork, prohibited content, regulated sensitive data, or secrets inside design files.
5. Merchant content, customer content, and privacy
As between the parties, the Merchant retains ownership of product data, store configuration, private templates, uploaded artwork, customer designs, order resources, and other content submitted to Total Print Hub (Merchant Content). The Merchant grants ITLOX a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transform, validate, transmit, display, and otherwise process Merchant Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and comply with law for the service.
The Merchant is responsible for establishing a lawful basis and providing notices or obtaining permissions required for customer content and personal data. ITLOX processes that data as described in the Privacy Notice and applicable data-processing terms. ITLOX does not acquire ownership of a merchant's private content.
6. ITLOX software, shared assets, and intellectual property
Total Print Hub software, source and object code, interfaces, workflows, algorithms, documentation, branding, original mockups, shared templates, and ITLOX-created art or font packs are owned by ITLOX or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws. Except for the licence expressly granted above, no right, title, or interest is transferred to the Merchant.
A shared art, font, or template asset may carry its own licence, attribution requirement, print-use restriction, or third-party terms. A merchant-specific recolour, layer change, or derivative is stored as that merchant's private override and does not overwrite the global shared asset. Deleting or resetting the override may restore the original shared version. The Merchant must not redistribute shared packs as standalone files or represent them as exclusively owned.
Feedback can be used by ITLOX without restriction or compensation, provided ITLOX does not publicly identify the Merchant or disclose Merchant Confidential Information through that use.
7. Content rights and infringement reports
The Merchant must have all permissions required to upload, reproduce, modify, print, sell, and fulfil every design, logo, font, photograph, supplier image, trademark, name, and other asset it or its customers submit. The Merchant must maintain a reasonable process for handling infringement complaints and customer takedown requests.
Notices alleging copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property infringement should be sent to legal@itlox.com and include the claimant's contact information, the protected work or right, the exact app or store material at issue, its location, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement, and a physical or electronic signature. ITLOX may restrict disputed content, preserve necessary evidence, notify the Merchant, or terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
8. Production and customer approvals
Total Print Hub provides design, validation, quote, and export tools; it does not replace professional prepress review. The Merchant must verify dimensions, bleed, safe areas, resolution, colour mode, separations, fonts, spelling, garment and product compatibility, print method, quantity, price, tax, supplier requirements, and customer approval before manufacture or fulfilment.
Unsupported assets, unsafe SVG, malware, missing private assets, out-of-area objects, invalid masks, unavailable fonts, transparent pixels, low-resolution raster art, unapproved substitutions, or supplier credential gaps can block or degrade production. A preview is not a colour-accurate physical proof. ITLOX is not the manufacturer, printer, supplier, carrier, or merchant of record for the Merchant's customer orders.
9. Billing, plans, and taxes
Paid access is controlled by Shopify app billing and server-side entitlement checks. Merchants must approve applicable charges in Shopify before commercial Studio, export, AI, supplier, and order workflows are unlocked. Shopify presents the plan, renewal, trial, tax, cancellation, and payment status. ITLOX does not collect payment-card credentials for the Shopify app subscription. See billing and plans.
Plan limits, included usage, and feature availability are those displayed by Shopify or stated in a written ITLOX order. The Merchant is responsible for taxes not collected by Shopify and for charges arising from authorised use of the connected store.
10. AI-assisted features
AI-assisted design features, when enabled, create editable drafts and suggestions rather than guaranteed production art. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, infringing, or unsuitable. The Merchant must independently review content, rights, spelling, quality, and printability. Low-quality raster output must not be treated as print-ready without suitable review or vectorisation. AI features may not be used to make unlawful decisions about individuals or to generate prohibited content. The AI policy forms part of these terms.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use Total Print Hub to violate law or third-party rights; create or distribute malware; exploit children; produce unlawful sexual, violent, hateful, deceptive, fraudulent, or dangerous content; harass or impersonate others; facilitate counterfeiting; evade sanctions or export controls; scrape Shopify or supplier data without authorisation; overload the service; bypass security, tenant, rate, quota, billing, or production controls; or conceal secrets or executable payloads inside uploaded assets.
ITLOX may remove or quarantine content and suspend a workflow or account where reasonably necessary to prevent harm, investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect another tenant. Where lawful and safe, ITLOX will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.
12. Third-party platforms and suppliers
Total Print Hub depends on Shopify and can integrate with merchant-selected suppliers, cloud infrastructure, AI providers, and other third-party services. Their availability, APIs, terms, prices, data practices, and product catalogues are outside ITLOX's control and can change. The Merchant is responsible for its own third-party accounts, permissions, credentials, licences, supplier agreements, and fulfilment decisions. ITLOX does not guarantee supplier stock, pricing, turnaround, colour, quality, shipping, or acceptance.
13. Confidentiality and security responsibilities
Each party must protect the other's non-public confidential information using reasonable care and use it only to perform the agreement. Confidential information excludes information lawfully public, already known without duty, independently developed, or lawfully received from another source. A party may disclose information when legally required after giving notice where permitted.
ITLOX maintains technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service. The Merchant must use least-privilege Shopify roles, secure endpoints, strong authentication, current devices and browsers, authorised supplier connections, and trained staff. No party can guarantee absolute security.
14. Availability, changes, and support
The service may be unavailable for maintenance, security response, third-party outages, or events beyond reasonable control. Unless a signed service-level agreement says otherwise, no uptime SLA is created by these terms. ITLOX may improve, replace, or discontinue features, but will use reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing paid core functionality during a current billing period without notice where practicable.
Use the support contact published in the Shopify App Store listing, or open Total Print Hub support. Do not send Shopify API secrets, passwords, supplier passwords, private object-storage keys, or customer payment details in support messages.
15. Suspension, cancellation, and data after uninstall
The Merchant can cancel through Shopify or uninstall the app. ITLOX may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, fraud, security risk, prohibited use, legal requirement, or conduct that threatens the service or another party. Suspension should be proportionate where reasonably possible.
On termination, the licence ends and paid features stop. The Merchant should export required production resources before uninstall. Data is deleted or retained according to the Privacy Notice, Shopify's mandatory privacy requests, merchant retention settings, backups, and lawful holds. Provisions concerning ownership, confidentiality, payment, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and disputes survive where their nature requires.
16. Warranties and disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Total Print Hub is provided as is and as available. ITLOX disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, and accuracy of previews, calculations, supplier data, or AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, anticipated savings, or data, arising from these terms. ITLOX's aggregate liability relating to Total Print Hub will not exceed the greater of the fees paid for the app during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or £100 GBP.
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, breach of confidentiality or intellectual-property obligations where such exclusion is unlawful, or any liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.
18. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, the Merchant will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ITLOX and its affiliates, personnel, and licensors against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from Merchant Content, products or fulfilment, infringement of third-party rights, unlawful customer-data processing, breach of these terms, or misuse of the service. ITLOX will provide reasonable notice and cooperation, and the Merchant may control the defence subject to ITLOX's right to participate and approve any settlement that admits fault or imposes an obligation on ITLOX.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that ITLOX may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent jurisdiction and mandatory local rights remain unaffected. Before filing a claim, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for 30 days after written notice to legal@itlox.com.
20. General terms and changes
Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control. The Merchant may not assign these terms without ITLOX's written consent; ITLOX may assign them to an affiliate or successor. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. English controls over translations. These terms, incorporated policies, Shopify approvals, and any signed order form the entire agreement for Total Print Hub.
ITLOX may update these terms for legal, security, platform, or product changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and communicated through Shopify or the Merchant's registered contact where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if the Merchant does not agree, it must stop using and uninstall the app before that date.
